Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Jackson

Pleasantly surprised at how nice our stay was! Everything was top notch!the breakfast clerk was exceptional. He worked hard to keep things stocked (and there is a lot to choose from especially oatmeal toppings - or put in waffles:) he kept everything clean and tidy too! This is a nice, clean quiet hotel! -Highly recommend! [ one thing I would recommend to management- higher quality of coffee- another brand- even QT has better- but we are coffee people, & it just wasn’t up to par like the rest of the hotel]

Angela at front desk so very sweet and helpful always a smile on her pretty face,she made it a very pleasant stay for us, I hope she is paid well, we will be back next trip!

We stayed here for a night while passing through. Angela, the night monitor, was very polite and friendly. She was quick to get us checked in. Our room was clean and modern. The hotel is just right off the interstate and within walking distance to several restaurants. The area seemed pretty safe to me.

Good for a last-minute stop on our way home from Memphis. Booking online was easy through the Marriott website, and they accommodated our last-minute / late night check-in with ease. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We slept comfortably, TV had all the channels, bathrooms were clean with basic soaps provided. Complimentary breakfast was great—eggs, bacon, waffles, bagels, cereal, juices, coffee, etc. We had an issue with our first room (A/C set to 64, but room was 78). We got a new room within minutes and no hesitation. For management—the staff member working the front desk on Tuesday, September 3rd around 10:30-11pm was excellent! He was very professional, kind, and helpful.

I could go on and on about the front desk staff and housekeeping but I want to highlight the breakfast buffet staff Ms. Annie and Mr. Lamar when I say they have above expectations service. I travel a lot domestically and internationally and the service they gave us was Exceptional and whomever was in the kitchen preparing the food. This was the cleanest buffet and they kept it filled to the very last minute so no matter what time you came to breakfast you got a hot breakfast and they were constantly moving and cleaning tables and greeting guests. They would definitely make me come back to this hotel again.

We were in Jackson because my husband's sister passed away at the hospital. I made numerous calls to hotels, trying to find someone who would allow us to check in early but not pay an excessive amount, as we had been up for over 24 hours. Most communication was with a call center. We had just about given up finding a hotel when I decided to call Fairfield Inn & Suites. From the moment Ashley answered the phone until we checked out the next day, our stay was more than perfect. Ashley told us to come to the hotel, and she would take care of us. We got there in time to enjoy a little bit of breakfast before going to bed. Ashley put us in a room that was tucked away in a corner that was so quiet. We could not hear anyone else, the bed was really comfortable, the room was clean and smelled good, and the a/c was nice and cold. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a nice hotel in Jackson.

We stayed for one night a little under two weeks ago. This review will be only about the room - we didn't even have breakfast nor did we avail ourselves of any amenities the hotel has to offer. We checked in, went to our room, went to sleep, woke up after breakfast service was over, and left. The room was very nice and well appointed. It was very clean. I would stay again. I do have two minor complaints that might bother others more than they bothered me - my partner didn't even noticed these issues. I noticed them and was mildly annoyed but not enough to request any remedy for them. Another person might find them intolerable.! Those people could still be very happy at this hotel if they are aware of these issues in advance. First, the bed was very firm. Far more firm than the bed at the Comfort Inn we were at the night before. Some people might even prefer this. It was too firm for me to be extremely comfortable but I was able to sleep. As I said, my partner didn't notice any difference. I am apparently the princess and the pea of the relationship. It wasn't terrible or I would have contacted the front desk for a mattress topper but it wasn't awesome either. Second, there was a persistent very dull roar from the highway. It was low and since it was constant, it was sort of like a loud fan or an AC unit. My partner heard it but she kind of liked it. She's a light sleeper so it worked exactly like a white noise machine - a constant low noise that blocked out a lot of other hotel noise - talking in the halls, doors opening and closing, elevators doing whatever it is they do all night... I was able to sleep through it and I wouldn't say it kept me awake but when I was awake, I found it to be really irksome. If it had been MORE bothersome, I could simply have requested a room on the other side of the hall and that would have solved the problem but, as I said, it wasn't annoying enough fur me to contact the front desk about it. Other than these two issues, our stay was comfortable and restful. Again, I want to express that I did not request assistance for either of the very minor complaints I'm listing here - I expect that if I had, they would have been immediately rectified by the offer if a mattress topper or a change of room. I mention them here so that, if you stay, you can be aware and make the required accommodations based on your own needs. I would choose this hotel again if I am in Jackson again (but next time I would probably request a mattress topper and I would ask for a room not facing the highway. And next time I DEFINITELY would not miss breakfast).

Great clean place that’s conveniently located close to restaurants and shopping areas. Being in Jackson, I was a little concerned about the area but once we arrived, the area seemed like a good part of town. Definitely a newly developed area. Staff was great, hotel was nice and the beds were comfortable. Over all, one of the better hotels I’ve stayed in

This rural Marriott has a great breakfast, pictured in the review. The fresh fruit, name brand yogurt, and selections were an awesome finish to a quiet and peaceful stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area.

perfect, clean spot to stop if you’re heading west and want to rest before memphis. right off highway and lots of restaurants around.
